Celebrate Oktoberfest Throughout Connecticut This Fall


Every September, the city of Munich, Germany comes alive with the legendary Oktoberfest celebration. Here in Connecticut, the tradition carries on with various events around the state in September and October. Check out a few of the Oktoberfest-style celebrations going on this fall.

September 8, 2018

Expect great wings by different restaurants and more than 80 craft beers and live music.

September 15-16, 2018

Join the annual Two Roads Ok2berfest to pay homage to the world's largest Volkfest (beer festival). Authentic German music, German-style beers, food trucks, games and more. 21+ event. Noon-6:30 p.m.

September 15, 2018

Connecticut’s urban beer festival is back and reloaded. Small State Great Beer is a celebration of our thriving culture, featuring unlimited tastings from the largest line-up of Connecticut breweries alongside local food trucks and national level music. SSGB transforms a craft beer showcase into an immersive live-event experience in Downtown Hartford.

September 21-22, 2018

Come enjoy this biergarten at the Rotary Pavilion at Fowler. Festivities feature different seasonal brews, German and American food vendors, German dancers, an Oompah band and popular music by some of the area’s top bands. Must be 21 unless accompanied by a parent.

September 27, 2018

First-every celebration, featuring German beer, light menu of classic German fare and traditional Oktoberfest music.

September 29, 2018

This 150-year old society is planning a special smoked pork chop dinner accompanied by live music from the Joe Unger Band and Bavarian dancers.

October 6, 2018

Enjoy the beautiful October foliage with free lift rides up the mountain, food, live concerts and live demonstrations. Complementing the fall scenery will be a German-inspired menu including bratwurst, sauerkraut, pretzels with mustard, brick oven potato pizza, chili bread bowl and more.

October 13, 2018

Support a good cause while you're celebrating Oktoberfest. Enjoy live music with an authentic German band, traditional German food and Oktoberfest beverages, silent auction, raffles, free gifts and more. Event is 21 and over.
