Sitting pretty at the crossroads of Route 33 & Route 35, the fountain is the symbol that you have officially arrived in picturesque downtown Ridgefield. Built as a gift to the town of Ridgefield, over 100 years ago, by esteemed architect, Cass Gilbert; the fountain was only officially "accepted" as a gift in 2016. Changing along with the seasons, it's full of blooms year-round. A sign of winter in Ridgefield, is when it's cover gets put on. And a sign of spring is when it get removed!
